Teddie Morrow was born in Chapel Hill North Carolina where he began sing in locally at the age of 14. Although Teddie has never had any formal training, he is blessed with a sensitive voice and a natural ability to write words and melodies which comes from the heart, that reflects personal experiences.
Teddie was drafted in the United States Army in 1963 and where he performed during his tour of duty throughout the south. He has worked with some of the notable musicians in the music industry such as Otis Redding, The Whispers, and The Clovers which became known as The Coasters, for which he sang and played guitar.
With his roots in R&B and Soul music, Teddie soon developed a style of his own in preparation for his dream…but his dream and style led him in another direction, "GOSPEL” that’s right! GOD led him another direction …to become a "GOSPEL" recording artist.
The reality and the road to that dream has been long and hard, but worth it! Teddies friendship with a well-known Bass player by the name of PAUL STALLWORTH. That’s right, the same Paul Stallworth that played with SLY STONE, GEORGE DUKE, and lastly was a bass player with former member GEORGE HARRISON, of the BEATLES. Paul Stallworth, had started his career off by playing bass for ROBIN LLOYD, known as "ROUND ROBIN" in the music industry. Paul Stallworth recommended Teddie to contact the one person he had faith in, within the music industry. That longtime friendship with Paul Stallworth led him to, Robin Lloyd of Thick and Thin Inc RNB GOSPEL RECORDS, and RNB MUSIC PRODUCTION, AND THE REST IS HISTORY!
NOW THICK AND THIN PRODUCTIONS INC. RNB GOSPEL RECORDS, and RNB MUSIC PRODUCTION WELCOMES TEDDIE MORROW INTO THE FAMILY
